We have chosen oils which resemble the skin's natural sebum that help with keeping the skin balanced and hydrated, soothe any redness or dryness, protect it from free-radicals which can damage the skin and are also non-comedogenic (they will not clog pores).

The essential oils chosen have balancing, refreshing, soothing and softening properties.

SKIN- ENHANCING OIL EXTRACTS

Carrot Seed Oil ~ This therapeutic oil has several useful compounds and vitamins, which makes it beneficial for your skin. Carrot seed oil is rich in vitamins A, C and E and helps moisturise the skin and smoothens lines. It is also known to stimulate cell regeneration, which gives you supple skin. Due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties it helps reduce redness, irritation, acne and acne scars on the face.

Prickly Pear Oil ~ A highly moisturizing, skin-softening oil derived from a cactus. Extremely high in essential fatty acids, omega-6 and -9, and vitamin E. Rich in amino acids, which stimulate collagen production to promote faster cell turnover. And finally, it also contains vitamin K, which brightens under-eye dark circles and also promotes your skin’s elasticity.

Green Coffee Oil ~ extracted by cold pressing green coffee beans. Its high concentration of essential fatty acids, sterols, and vitamin E make it a potent antioxidant that can offer protection against skin damage such as sunburn cell formation and DNA degradation. It can also assist in the prevention of the development of photoaging and inflammatory skin disorders. Green Coffee Oil is rich in phytosterols that promote excellent moisture retention. It is also exceptionally high in its composition of essential fatty acids.

Olive Squalane ~ An organically composed lipid extracted from olives, its molecular structure is similar to the hydrolipidic film and sebum in humans. Regenerative, protective, nourishing, moisturising, emollient.

Avocado Oil ~ emollient, soothing, softening, protective, regenerative, nourishing , toning, moisturizing, restorative, contains vitamins A, B, D, E, omegas 6,9,3 fatty acids.

Pomegranate Seed oil ~ Nourishing and moisturizing, improve skin elasticity, rejuvenating, conditioning, high in Omega 5 fatty acid.

 Ritual

Take a few drops of the oil and warm it up in the palm of your hands. Gently massage the oil onto a clean damp face, focusing on areas that need extra hydration or attention. Use circular motions and upward strokes to encourage lymphatic drainage and promote blood circulation, while inhaling the calming and balancing scent of the essential oils. A Gua - Sha tool would also be beneficial to use with this oil.
