We have chosen oils which resemble the skin's natural sebum that help with keeping the skin balanced and hydrated, soothe any redness or dryness, protect it from free-radicals which can damage the skin and are also non-comedogenic (they will not clog pores).

KEY INGREDIENTS

Meadowfoam oil - this oil has a unique and velvety texture that is very emollient, without it being greasy. It works similarly to the skin’s natural sebum and helps seal in moisture, keeping the skin hydrated, soft and supple. Meadowfoam oil helps balance our skin’s natural sebum production, keeping it from being too oily or too dry. The fact that this oil replenishes moisture means that it also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is easily absorbed into the skin and helps fight aging and free-radical damage. It is also non-comedogenic, meaning it does not clog pores.

Apricot oil – A light and easily absorbed oil because it resembles the skin’s naturally produced oil sebum. It also helps improve skin tone, maintain softness and radiance of the skin, and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by nourishing the skin. It does not clog pores but if you have oily skin use carefully.

Olive Squalane – An organically composed lipid extracted from olives, its molecular structure is similar to the hydrolipidic film and sebum of our skin. It is very beneficial for many skin problems, by penetrating easily into the skin and absorbed deep down to help fight dryness and help promote new cell growth.

Passionflower Seed oil – This oil is full of nutrients for the skin. Among these are vitamins A and c, essential fatty acids, copper magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, and carotenoids. This combination of powerful ingredients provides protection against free-radicals and cancer-causing agents. Anti-aging due to its high vitamin content helping to slow down damage leading to appearance of aging and helps preserve collagen and elastin, which keeps the skin looking firm and youthful. Plumping – a high content of fatty and oleic acids feeds the skin, helping to maintain structure and keep the skin smooth and plump. Hydrating, as a light non-greasy, easily absorbing oil it is a perfect moisturiser for all skin types also it does not clog pores. Calming, like most plant-sourced ingredients, passionflower oil has calming properties and reducing irritation.

Ritual

Take a few drops of the oil and warm it up in the palm of your hands. Gently massage the oil onto a clean damp face, focusing on areas that need extra hydration or attention. Use circular motions and upward strokes to encourage lymphatic drainage and promote blood circulation, while inhaling the calming and balancing scent of the essential oils. A Gua - Sha tool would also be beneficial to use with this oil.
